Volunteer Opportunities: be of service and help the unPrison mission

Would you like to help with the unPrison Project mission?

The pandemic has closed all in-person programming inside prisons, and still, the unPrison Project is working with people in prisons. Nothing can make us stop.

Our work is virtual and in distance learning. Can you help?

We’re looking for volunteers to assist with 1) A creative project, and 2) Writing brief content for a  new curriculum.

These are the opportunities. If you can help, please email admin@unprison.org with your cover letter of interest, and set of skills, bio, or resume. Thank you.

Curriculum writer
unPrison Project is looking for a volunteer who can assist in the development and writing of a three-four model curriculum for incarcerated female-identified persons.  The curriculum is focused on several different health topics (such as being mindful of mental health) that are applicable to incarcerated populations.  The volunteer should have some experience with curriculum writing, knowledge of health and incarcerated populations.  This individual will work with unPrison staff on the direction of the curriculum and will write in mind of low-literacy populations and will prepare a script for development of a video-series.  This curriculum will be distributed to prisons with women across the United States.
